Late Sunday or early Monday my good friend, Ichabod, Ledbetter Freewheelers M.C. President, went down. While en-route to Giddings he hit a deer and was life-flighted to Brackenridge Hospital in Austin. He has suffered facial/head injuries, internal/organ injuries and other less life threatening injuries. At this point, he is in intensive care and visitors are limited to those who have a code that was given to his family.
My take on his condition is that even the experts arent sure and that my time is best spent fielding some of the phone calls and giving updates to concerned friends and supporting him with the prayers that are certainly needed.
Anyone interested in updates as I get them can email me at jlstork@hotmail.com and I will do my best to keep you updated until he is out of the woods. I will also post this letter on my home page and try to keep it updated as to his condition.
Prayers for Gary and his family are appreciated.

jj26@austin.rr.com For additional information and/or questions contact Escondido Paul at 512-276-0681 or Escondido Lefty at 512-297-5806Oct. 3rd/4th(Sat./Sun.) will be the State COC sponsored Chili cook off at Apache Pass (same place as the last State COC Rally).
Going on at the same time at Apache Pass will be the Ride to the River Rally:
All regions are encouraged to submit teams for the chili cook off.
* each team must cook all chili on site
* chili must be turned in by 4:30pm for judging
* entry fee is $20 per team and each team is entitled to 2 team members (free entry with entry fee)
* there will be a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place as well as a people’s choice award.
